NEW Outlook (2024) Snooze calendar reminders to "5 minutes before"

On the new version of Outlook, the only snooze options for calendar reminders are 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours. The problem is when the calendar reminder is set to hit a day before the appointment, none of those intervals are enough to get it out of your face for the rest of the day. Is there a way to bring back the 12 hour snooze, and the 5 minutes before snooze, at the least?

This is what happens when some new big boss appears and decides they need to shake things up to make their mark

Could "old" Outlook have used a UI refresh? Yes.

Did it need a complete rework from the ground up? No.

Was it reasonable to completely neuter features for the sake of "clean"? No.

We have the ability to switch back to "old" Outlook, but that will be taken away once Microsoft decides for us that we no longer need it.

95% of my meetings I get the initial reminder, and I set it to snooze until 5 min before the start time. I would like this to have a configurable default Snooze button action, like "old" Outlook had. No reason to remove this other than laziness and "dumbing down" the interface for the sake of aesthetics. This is a work tool, it doesn't need to be slick and pretty, it needs to be useful. Put more resources into functionality, and less into cartoonish interfaces.

Also, why can't the right sidebar show my schedule and to do list at the same time any more? Stop the ensh*ttification of Outlook >:[ Stop removing functionality for the sake of "cleanness", you're not improving the software.

That's a terrible decision. Bring back all the functionality and options you removed please! MSFT keeps changing things for the worse with this stuff. Why would you remove functionality!?!

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Per your description,I understand you want to bring back the 12 hour snooze, and the 5 minutes before snooze, please correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Per researching, I am sorry to say that this feature is not available in the new outlook.

In the meantime, I suggest you create an entry in the Feedback Portal Outlook · Community (microsoft.com), and comments there as well.

Should you have any questions and concerns please do not hesitate to contact me. Look forward to hearing from you.
