NEW Outlook (2024) Snooze calendar reminders to "5 minutes before"

On the new version of Outlook, the only snooze options for calendar reminders are 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours. The problem is when the calendar reminder is set to hit a day before the appointment, none of those intervals are enough to get it out of your face for the rest of the day. Is there a way to bring back the 12 hour snooze, and the 5 minutes before snooze, at the least?

Please can you confirm when the new outlook will allow us to increase the amount of snooze time for my reminders? 2 hours is just not enough and it is frustrating that it continuously pops up when I want it to be moved to 8 hours or 0.5day or a day and even a week's time. It's not a great user friendly function at the minute and the older version is much better.

No, that is not what I am saying. I set Tasks as reminders that sometimes I dismiss right away as it was just a quick reminder, and sometimes I snooze them to come back to at a later date or to just keep as an ongoing reminder. In the old Outlook, the standard snooze options are 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 0.5 days, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, 1 week or 2 weeks. The old Outlook also allows you to enter custom snooze time, so you could reset a Task for 8 weeks, or 30 weeks, or however you long you would prefer. The new outlook only allows you to snooze 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. The new version does not allow a user to enter a custom snooze time either.

I agree the maximum snooze time for a reminder being 2 hours is not enough. In the Old Outlook you could snooze for days and weeks, which I found very useful for certain repeat reminders.

I agree. We need this functionality. Our whole development team does not like the new outlook calendar notifications. We have a lot of meetings. Please bring the snooze button back. I also only get a popup that might end up behind another application with no sound notification.

They removed them because their trying to make this outlook as idiot proof as possible with as big buttons and little functionality as possible going the apple route. Its a big downgrade, they point you to their roadmap and its nowhere there and no one gives a human answer.

Fyi the roadmap site https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?&filters= its nowhere there.

We need this back, its a huge downgrade people want to snooze until next day, next week etc. the options old outlook gave were awesome not sure why we have to eat such a big downgrade on such a simple to implement functionality. The variable is already there just extend with the options we had in old outlook. Unfortunately Microsoft is such a big corporate mess I don't think anyone will even see this message for 5-10 years...hope the old outlook stays functional until then.
