How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

This is appalling.

We can no longer use the old outlook, but we can't even paste in a tiny bit of text to send someone in the new onw. This isn't 'work in progress', this is a failure.

And there is no such 'reply' and no such arrow on my 'new outlook.' So this ridiculous work around is hopeless anyway.

For embedding email into email (without having to download and save as msg file) as there is no copy option and ctrl+c and ctrl+v doesnt work either, simply drag the email you want to embed into the body of the new email and it works...shame its not very well advertised. Assuming designed for touch/mobile aps..

Thanks Steve, that does work with the draging method from Explorer to new Email. However, the CTRL V also works for me. You are right on, "why did MS keep this a secret" Lot of wasted time for people that are effectively skilled. Don
