2024-05-22T19:19:55+00:00 I've read everyone's comments and they are so true. I wish I had read them before switching to the "new" Outlook. I just can't believe such basic functions were left out. I've used Outlook for such a long time and I had confidence that the "new" would be okay. I should have done more research because Microsoft has really let us down.

2024-05-23T07:42:40+00:00 I did an office update last week and the copy (right click copy) option is now there, as well as the copy to function.
Hopefully update will sort you out, but yes, it’s been a long time coming …

2024-06-20T16:26:32+00:00 At last I have located an easy solution by accident.
Go to View Settings and select "Compose and reply" , then find "Pop-out settings" and check the box. You will find that all new and reply messages will open in a separate pane and will have the full cut and paste functions on a mouse click as before.
