Agreed, but why be surprised about Microsoft's ineptitude? I'll stop using my electronis before I allow Google on any device I own.
The remedy works; hopefully Microsoft will fix it...MAYBE.
My next computer will be an Apple.
This is such a blatant screw up not being able to easily copy and paste into the "New Outlook" pushing a lot of us over to google......

Thanks Steve, that does work with the draging method from Explorer to new Email. However, the CTRL V also works for me. You are right on, "why did MS keep this a secret" Lot of wasted time for people that are effectively skilled. Don
