New Outlook does not show Old emails

The OLD Outlook and the NEW Outlook work differrently. The one thing the NEW OUTLOOK doesn't do is allow any PST import - :-(, Manually had to input all my calendar entries and contacts but so far can't figure out a way to get my emails going back about 5 years. Currently have to toggle between both systems which is not ideal in this age of technology. Disappointed in Microsoft Support but not surprised. Loyal customers are left behind when it comes to changes in systems. Office xxxxxx should be updated for life and not be limited to 10 years support

i upgraded to New Outlook two days ago. Now i cannot access emails that I have saved in files on on my laptop. It is URGENT that this gets fixed as i am in the process of moving house and there are many of the documents that relate to this.

That did nothing. There is a serious flaw in this new program you're trying to ram down everyone's throats. The program does not work correctly. Mail will show everything. Outlook congratulates me on an empty inbox.

Why does Microsoft think this is ok to do to users? Do Microsoft employees only stick around for 2-3 months? How do you function without being able to leverage, search, use old emails from 6 months ago, 9 months ago, 2 years ago?

This is not really a solid business functionality

I'm fed up.

1. Older emails not showing in the Inbox.
2. Cannot choose where downloaded files are stored, they go to the "downloads" folder by default. Why?
