New Outlook does not show Old emails

Same issue. I can't see emails past 6 days! What is going on here?!?

A bit of an update ............ My previous posts and the Yale fix I used all relate to Outlook on my laptop running Windows 11. But I also have a desktop PC running Windows 10, which I hadn't go round to tackling yet.. However, when I got back from holiday recently, I found that the (embedded) Windows Mail system, which had been running perfectly, no longer worked and was demanding that I install New Outlook !

After the usual palaver involved in installing an IMAP account, it all burst into life, INCLUDING converting all my personally created folders as well as the standard System folders ! So MS have obviously got round to fixing the file suffix problem in Windows 10. Have you tried switching to New Outlook recently, to see if it's been fixed for you, too ?

It seems Outlook thinks I only need to see todays emails in my non Outlook emails... Sent history seems good, but my inbox is quite bare. Good thing I don't use this for work, I'd be out of a job! AND they have now forced users to go to the new ever so unusable Outlook to manage all my emails accounts. Which I can't, because of this new version. What do you use to manage all your email accounts instead of using Outlook? I need to swtich. TIA
