New Outlook does not show Old emails

I couldn't agree more. Whatever they were trying to do is a complete and total failure. Calling it useless is an understatement and whoever in management allowed it to be released in this form should be removed from a position of authority.

You seem to have been able to retrieve your folders/messages (can you tell me how, please ?) but when I added my talktalk account the inbox was empty and none of my personal folders were restored. Also I'm not able to send/receive messages from my account.

This is clearly an issue as I'm the 130th person to bring it up safe to assume the is 10x more people that have not sent anything in so how about a solution? I need to few mail from 2008-2009 and 2010-2011 for tax purposes but other than scrolling for a year I can't find any simple way to sort by year..... you know like Gmail and other mail services have!!

I have the same problem. Although the imported email accounts have been added, all the folders are EMPTY !

I'm fed up.

1. Older emails not showing in the Inbox.
2. Cannot choose where downloaded files are stored, they go to the "downloads" folder by default. Why?
   Back to the old Outlook!
