New Outlook does not show Old emails

For a long while now, in the new Outlook, I cannot see emails that are one month old. In the old version, there is no problem. I also double checked that I haven't run out of room with my email provider. Also double checked that ALL emails are selected. Other people seems to be experiencing the same issue. Why has there not been a solution to this problem yet? It seems that it began October 2023. It is now August 2024. You can do better Microsoft. Using MS Office Professional Plus 2016.

Not sure where we are with this, but my issue was that scrolling down my inbox would not load any messages further back than a week. What worked for me was to click the 3 lines button at the ribbon of the inbox (it is the sort/filter button) > then expand the Sort option > then sort by oldest on top. This will resort your inbox with the oldest email in there on top. All you have to do is change the sort back to newest on top, and voila. Worked for me, hopefully this helps some others until microsoft fixes their programs.

It amazes me this mind-numbingly stupid behavior for a "great new email client" hasn't been a problem for more users and has zero visibility in all the articles and sources that are fawning all over New Outlook.

SOLVED IT! I had the same problem and tried all the settings here with no success.

Came across this post about Search Folders today and it worked! All my old emails showed up in the new search folder!

Short answer: set up a Search folder with a time filter like "older than three months."

I don't understand why they aren't in the Inbox anymore but at least they aren't gone. Hope this helps others.

I CANNOT find original emails. Please can someone help. I always build on original emails when sending out to a group. I cannot find them.

What do I need to do?
