New Outlook does not show Old emails

Hi I have the same problem, I am using Office 2016 and saw the option to try new outlook and everything would be good but I cannot search for email that are older that ~6 months

Check that the mailbox has not run out of storage space. Old emails may not load if no space available.

On classic version everything works just fine

Verify that date range/filters are not restricting the view. Check all folders and use "All Mail" or "Everything" view.

That seems not to be the case if i sort by date from oldest, firt mail that shows is from 24th April

Old emails may be in the Archive folder rather than Inbox. Look in the folder list on the left for Archive.

The archive folder is emty

Try searching for keywords from old emails to see if they will appear in search results.

I tried it and it kind of worked, I've opened up old outlook searched for old email (from september last year) and copied its topic to new outlook, after a while it showed up in new outlook. But when I try to "manually" go to this email the last is still from 24th April

Sorry for your experience which it shouldn't be. First of all, Could you please tell us if you're using Office/ Microsoft365 for business/education subscription or Personal account (outlook.com/hotmail.com/live.com) ?

and if login outlook online , does email's visible ?

Does this line above say that I need to have enough cloud space for all my emails? And the emails are only stored and accessed from Cloud?

Also how do I check the Storage space? This is what I found.

        - I don't any of the number of folders that I have in inbox.

  • No emails appear in search results.
