Hi. I am unable to unpin New Outlook from my task bar in Windows. Can you please advise? It seems that there is a new functionality with the right-click on the task bar icon for New Outlook. The popup window is different from all other applications. Thanks.

Hold shift then right click and the option should be in the menu for you.
FWIW, I too switched back to Classic Outlook after a good few weeks of trying real hard to hang w/ "New". Having to figure out random stuff like this on my own is a good example of why.
Agree. Ridiculous workaround to remove from taskbar.

I have also been forced to move back to the old outlook. The "New Outlook" is just the web platform made into the app.
I have given it a good few weeks but there is just so much functionality missing from the traditional outlook.
