Unpin New Outlook from Windows task bar

Hi. I am unable to unpin New Outlook from my task bar in Windows. Can you please advise? It seems that there is a new functionality with the right-click on the task bar icon for New Outlook. The popup window is different from all other applications. Thanks.

    I am so sorry, but I bought a Surface Pro. I have been using it for two weeks, and things like this make me so angry. You know very well that Matthew cannot just easily UNPIN it. I think Microsoft is trying to control how I like to work. Surely, a simple UNPIN would have been considered by Microsoft. This would help in treating us like individuals and not herd us towards the way Microsoft thinks. This function should have worked.

    You forgot to also click "uninstall" at that point :-P

    I was able to unpin by leaving "new" Outlook closed, press and hold the shift key, then right click. This brings up the "old" menu options that includes the "unpin" option. Then I was able to "unpin" the "new" Outlook.

    Right there with you. They also took away the ability to move my left frame (left menu) shortcuts to the bottom of the frame. Why? Dunno. Maybe just to mess with us.
