Hi. I am unable to unpin New Outlook from my task bar in Windows. Can you please advise? It seems that there is a new functionality with the right-click on the task bar icon for New Outlook. The popup window is different from all other applications. Thanks.

Shift + right click. This opens additional menu items. and was performed on Windows 10 Enterprise.
This option only happens once when it initially installs, but if you decide to add it back to the taskbar, you can right-click and the option to remove from taskbar will be available.
The New Outlook is a Windows/Office Store application... to remove it and from taskbar, just uninstall it.

Hold shift then right click and the option should be in the menu for you.
FWIW, I too switched back to Classic Outlook after a good few weeks of trying real hard to hang w/ "New". Having to figure out random stuff like this on my own is a good example of why.

They say that not all heroes wear capes. It's true. I've just wasted the past hour looking for this solution. I don't know what Microsoft is doing forcing this new **** on me then making it difficult to remove it from the taskbar. Not a good look.
