Unpin New Outlook from Windows task bar

Hi. I am unable to unpin New Outlook from my task bar in Windows. Can you please advise? It seems that there is a new functionality with the right-click on the task bar icon for New Outlook. The popup window is different from all other applications. Thanks.

    Thanks! This method worked and was easy.

    Hello all.

    Hold shift then right click and the option should be in the menu for you.

    FWIW, I too switched back to Classic Outlook after a good few weeks of trying real hard to hang w/ "New". Having to figure out random stuff like this on my own is a good example of why.

    The killer for me was all the Read emails kept bring Unread I went over my emails over and over, finally realized wait I already saw that one. got the the point I have to delete them to keep them marked as Unread.

    Gave up switched back.

    I agree. I'm having the same issue. I'm reverting back to old Outlook as new Outlook keeps dropping attachments. Make me look incapable when I have to keep appologising to people becuase it look like I cannot remember to attach file!
