In the outlook search bar "Search <0w>" appears

In the outlook search bar "Search <0w>" appears instead of a plain "Search". The search works fine but this <0W> is annoying. How can I delete it and why it appeared suddenly?

    This bug is not fixed for me. I'm still seeing "Search <0w>" displayed in my Outlook 2019 search box.

    I'm using the latest Microsoft Office Home and Business 2019 C2R Version 2405 / Build 17628.20164 released on 19-Jun-2024.

    Did a manual update and its still there for me. Don't understand what's so hard about updated to remove it.

    Like the others mentioning: A manual update does not fix this issue for me.

    Still present in:

    Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016

    Version 2405 (Build 17628.20164), current channel.

    Might help, if you tell which version worked for you.

    I think this problem is too hard to fix with a simple update...

    Went through many updates and the problem is still there.

    Even at home, with a different license (Office 2016, same release as the Office 2019 I have at work) the problem is still there.

    Does any Microsoft guru have proposed a full SFC/virus scan yet?
