New Teams meeting add-in is missing from outlook

I have the same situation after starting with a fresh install of office on a new computer. In Outlook desktop app, the teams add in is not showing, so I can't schedule MS teams meetings directly from the desktop app. (have to go to MS teams and do it there).

If you open the add ins page from the desktop app, will bring to you the web-based client ad ins and, MS teams connector is not listed as an option to download.

Hi,

1. no, just the desktop app
2. I found an installation of Teams from a month ago (classic Teams) and the add-in works properly.
3. in new teams the add-in is missing completely from the add-in list
4. Exchange account
5. version 2309

I am encountering the same issue. Over the weekend, we reformatted two enterprise workstations with Windows 11 Professional. Following the installation of Teams using the new MSIX and installation of the Premium Microsoft 365 apps, we have encountered an issue where we can no longer create Teams meetings directly from Outlook. It seems that the integration between Outlook and Teams is not functioning correctly, and the Teams add-in appears to be missing or possibly never installed.

Any assistance in quickly resolving this issue would be wonderful. Thanks!

• May I please confirm that you get same situation in both outlook for Desktop and Outlook on Web (https://outlook.office.com)?
• May I confirm that you get same situation when you revert back to Classic Teams? To switch back to the classic Teams, turn off the New Teams toggle at the top of Teams Switch to the new Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support
• May I know if you tried to run Teams Add-in Missing in Outlook diagnostic? To check this kindly refer to Resolve issues with Teams Meeting add-in for Outlook - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn for more information and troubleshooting.
• May I please know the account type are you using? Is it POP, IMAP or Exchange account?
• Would you mind to kindly provide the screenshot of the outlook version are you using? Kindly go to File-->Office Account
