Hi,

I have a PC with windows 11 and Office 365. I have installed the New Teams on it.
the user cannot create a teams meeting from outlook calendar.

When I looked for the add-in Options>Add-ins, I didnt see the add-in there, not even in the inactive or the disabled.

The add-in is installed when I looked in %AppData\local\microsoft\TeamsMeetingAddin..

I tried to uninstall Teams but again same problem.

I took the plugin from a PC that can launch teams meetings from outlook and put it in the folder of the PC that cant and it worked for a day now its not.

thank you

I have the same issue, I upgraded the Teams to the new version but I lost the outlook plugin.

so every time I have to install the classic Teams of the home version to get the plugin.

please suggest a solution, as its very important to my organization as its government organization.

    Regards,

Try joining a Teams meeting link using your web browser in incognito mode. You should then see the screen below. I downloaded a working 64bit Teams Classic and it fixed the Outlook add-in issue, for now at least.

So an older (from a month ago "TeamsSetup_c_w_.exe) didn't seem to work for me. I get the install of the teamsaddinloader and the text Meeting-Addin-install log seems to say that it was regsitered and installed and I do see the com-add in, within Outlook. HOWEVER, it will not load into the ribbon bar. I tried adding a few reg entries here and there, and re-registering the DLL but no dice.

How did you find the good x64 version and what's the name of the file?

    Thanks.

    Hello

    I just found a solution .

Previously, we used a regedit file to modify CLSID KLClassRoot value on severals keys like C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\TeamsMeetingAddin\1.0.22304.2\x64\Microsoft.Teams.AddinLoader.dll

But this folder doesn't exist anymore .

First of all, when you download the new Teams, it's only x86 version (32b) .

So in my case I have to uninstall all 32b Office Product, then re install in 64b .
I found a Teams 64b old version on Microsoft Official website, but doesn't work at all .

I have to go Teams Online, join a meeting, choose "download application" to get the good x64 version .

    It worked for me
