Hi,

I have a PC with windows 11 and Office 365. I have installed the New Teams on it.
the user cannot create a teams meeting from outlook calendar.

When I looked for the add-in Options>Add-ins, I didnt see the add-in there, not even in the inactive or the disabled.

The add-in is installed when I looked in %AppData\local\microsoft\TeamsMeetingAddin..

I tried to uninstall Teams but again same problem.

I took the plugin from a PC that can launch teams meetings from outlook and put it in the folder of the PC that cant and it worked for a day now its not.

thank you

Found out about this the hard way. Teams (installed with machine wide installer) removed itself from 90% of our endpoints. We use Teams frequently, so big changes to Teams are not ideal. Installing NEW Teams worked, but we were lacking the plugin for Teams Meetings in Outlook. Several attempts at correcting the plugin all failed. Solution for us was to instruct users to download Classic Teams from the App Store. This allowed users to switch back to the "Classic Teams" and the Outlook plugin for Teams worked again.

Thanks to some of the posts here, the long term solution is to update Outlook to the NEW Outlook using the toggle in Outlook. It would be nice if Microsoft had prepped us or at least had some sort of warning about where to find your Teams meeting plugin. Maybe this was an afterthought by Microsoft.

Some of this may depend on your tenant but with the M365 office client, new Outlook look, and New Teams, Zoom still appears as an add in but Teams Meeting is a slider above the description field. As per some other comments, you do have to get accustomed to the new look of Outlook.

Do you have a solution for this in the New Outlook? Like myself, many others are not seeing the MSTeams integration in the NEW outlook.

I see it in the old, so yes I have a subscription. An M365 personal. This is what I see when trying to create a meeitng in the NEW outlook. Only a skype integration.

So an older (from a month ago "TeamsSetup_c_w_.exe) didn't seem to work for me. I get the install of the teamsaddinloader and the text Meeting-Addin-install log seems to say that it was regsitered and installed and I do see the com-add in, within Outlook. HOWEVER, it will not load into the ribbon bar. I tried adding a few reg entries here and there, and re-registering the DLL but no dice.

How did you find the good x64 version and what's the name of the file?

    Thanks.
