Hello,

my name is Igor and I have problem in new outlook app. Im using 3 emails in old app. 1 private and 2 work accounts. Everything is ok. But when i switched to new outlook i cant add second work email. There is error:

"This account is not supported in Outlook for Windows due to the license provided by your work or school. Try to login with another account or go to Outlook on the web"

Why? why it works in old but not in new version ? Its feature or bug ? I want to use app not web, and i need this email not another... I would like to use outlook but this is ridiculous and i consider move to another app...

    I'm having the same issue.

Changing from mail for windows to the new Outlook for Windows and doesn't allow me to login in one of my accounts.

I guess I'll be going back to the old mail for windows app.

    Sadly still not working here.

Exactly the same problem with extra accounts not adding, despite wortking fine all together in the current version (and individually in the web app).

Seemed to work last time I tried it (although I still happily switched back, as I prefer the older version) this time I can't add my "business" accounts at all, The personal one works ok, but not the other two.

Good reason not to change yet, anyway.

Same Exchange Online (Plan 1) school licence works in New Outlook in Windows 10, and "is not supported" in New Outlook in Windows 11.

I am having the same issue. I also have chartermi.net email and my husbands is charter.net email.

I contacted Charter and they gave me the server name and password as well as the port numbers.

finally found where to set up the emails. control panel-->User Accounts-->mail

I was able to set up 2 other emails connected to my website hosting server but the charter accounts were rejected by "the sender".

Unfortunately, the 2 accounts that were successfully set up do not appear in Outlook. I've closed outlook an reopened and they don't display.

All of these accounts were working in "old Outlook" on my desktop pc. I'm trying to set up a brand new laptop with Windows 11 and MS 365.

I think this is problem with "new Outlook" that Microsoft needs to investigate.
