Hello,
my name is Igor and I have problem in new outlook app. Im using 3 emails in old app. 1 private and 2 work accounts. Everything is ok. But when i switched to new outlook i cant add second work email. There is error:
"This account is not supported in Outlook for Windows due to the license provided by your work or school. Try to login with another account or go to Outlook on the web"
Why? why it works in old but not in new version ? Its feature or bug ? I want to use app not web, and i need this email not another... I would like to use outlook but this is ridiculous and i consider move to another app...

I've tried one at a time and unfortunately I get the same message that for security reasons they can't be added. This leaves me in the bizarre situation that I have the accounts on Outlook on my cell phone but not on my laptop. It's really not acceptable.
I can one or the other so they both will work in new outlook. I just can’t add 2 accounts in outlook at the same time.
What type of accounts are you trying to add? If they are On Prem or POP accounts they will not work yet, New and classic Outlook for Windows feature comparison - Microsoft Support. If the accounts are supported per the article, I shared please submit an In App ticket via Help, Support.
I have the same problem. Two E Mail addresses that are really important and worked perfectly in old outlook are not accepted in new outlook. I have to change to a different application, which is means I also have to change my cell phone. I wish there was an easier answer. Horrible!
This is LasElidas. I posted a question and HalHostetler has replied to me, but I do not see a button to contact him. He asks me this "Hello! Are you trying to recover or access your Microsoft Account?" I want to access my 3 hotmail accounts. I hope this answers your question. I am confused and do not know what a microsoft account if. Please, read my complaint/request. I explain all the processes I followed and the challenges I find. Thank you. I have no clue how I will access any answer if I no longer have hotmails, I do have an account at the college I teach, which also has microsoft accounts. Thank you.
