Hello,

my name is Igor and I have problem in new outlook app. Im using 3 emails in old app. 1 private and 2 work accounts. Everything is ok. But when i switched to new outlook i cant add second work email. There is error:

"This account is not supported in Outlook for Windows due to the license provided by your work or school. Try to login with another account or go to Outlook on the web"

Why? why it works in old but not in new version ? Its feature or bug ? I want to use app not web, and i need this email not another... I would like to use outlook but this is ridiculous and i consider move to another app...

This is absolutely incredible and of course completely unacceptable. Microsoft, you need to give us an answer to what is going on!

Hi Diane, I have two other computers that are using the new Outlook and accepting this email address, but I just got a new computer and can't get it to work on a 365 mail account?

    I get message

"This account is not supported in Outlook for Windows due to the license provided by your work or school. Try to login with another account or go to Outlook on the web"

Why does it work on two others and not this one? Obviously the license is just fine if it works in in two other computers.

My wife and I use several laptops and desktops. Some work as they always hove, some give this Account license error. This is all to do with moving the mail client to be an "outlook client". Now I pay for my hosted email and use the "oulook" client that MS license to me through WIndows 11 and they say I have a license issue. You chahged my installed and working product from Mail for Windows to "Outlook" and now it works with every mail system EXCEPT THE ONE I PAY YOU FOR!!!!!

No MS, you have the license issue unless you are happily giving us all products which dont actually work with your own services.

This has been going on for months....fix it already.....

Adding the account via MAIL app and going back to Outlook New, it appears on the account list. However, on entering password, it does not accept :-( and gives error message as usual. Quite frustrating......
