NEW Outlook Email Format is messing up

No, it is not the client's reading issue.

It is the NEW "UPGRADE" to Office 365 that came in yesterday.

Outlook 365 was running fine until now. Reading, creating, replying to emails end up with a very bad layout. Looks like the entire page CSS is bad.

The issue is with Outlook 365 ... new updated binary on the PC. My laptop was not updated and it is fine.

Also, the "NEW Outlook" App on the same desktop pc appears to be ok ( Just much prefer the binary version ).

I'm so frustrated, I think I spent way too long on an important email being sent to about 100 people just for the formatting to be absolutely terrible when they received it. It looked clean and organized when it was created. It could be a copy and paste issue with the message being created on the web based outlook and adjusted and resent via the app. But either way, I had hoped it would stay consistent no matter if it was created, modified, or copy and pasted in ether the App or the Web. I would really appreciate consistency with email formatting for Outlook. Please figure this out.

This is a miserable and persistent issue plaguing a released product MS requires us to use for Copilot with Outlook. The issue is not present in Outlook classic. Wish MS would do something besides cut and paste unacceptable work arounds.

I am providing this info just in case they find the same cause of changed formatting in Outlook emails.

I had same issue. I sent an email from Outlook (desktop app) and then went to follow up on the email and saw that the font and formatting was all irregular and strange looking. Searched internet. Tried some things. Nothing worked.

After some poking around in Outlook and on the sent email, I found that somehow "Immersive Reader" was enabled on the email. This is found up in the menu bar of the email as the "Immersive" button.

(In this case, it was on my sent email found in my Sent folder).

I disabled "Immersive Reader" on the email and the format went back to normal.

No idea why it was enabled.

After disabling the "Immersive Reader" the font was still very small. I clicked on "Control" button and then used the scroll wheel on my mouse to check the font viewing size. It had been changed down to something like 20%. I kept holding "Control" button and used the scroll wheel on mouse to return it to 100%.

Please look into this issue, it is obviously impacting many users and started with the release of New Outlook. Posting generic troubleshooting tips isn't helpful. I have personally witnessed my HTML email formatting looking different (random line breaks, bullet misalignment, etc.) for the recipient within my organization using the exact same version and configuration of New Outlook. As a software developer, this inconsistency doesn't make any sense.
