Is there a way to pin/lock the Favorites to the top of the folder bar?

Why do companies take features away and then call it an upgrade???

Welcome to the wonderful world of Microserve... I mean Microsoft. Engineers who are very smart but are isolated from the end users and don't seem to want to learn what those users actually need. Even with feedback - like getting OneDrive to act just as a back-up instead of taking over your entire system when literally 100s of 1,000s of people request they do it - they are either reluctant or very slow to change.

In the case of the locking Faves section in Outlook, it seems they were getting owned by Gmail so they went with that look and functionality instead of just improving their own product. Like Coke changing their product when Pepsi gained market share. Who knows, maybe the bean-counters and executives are out-voting the engineers. Either way I agree, it sucks.

It's January, have you seen anything yet?

I haven't seen nor heard anything yet about the updates, which were said to be on their list for release in December 2024.

Honestly, I don't bother using the web version of Outlook anymore; I only use the full functioning Desktop Outlook application, which has all features and capibilities. I won't go back to the web version of the application until its capable of doing everything the desktop version can do.

I am using "new" outlook desktop.
