Is there a way to pin/lock the Favorites to the top of the folder bar?

I have hundreds of email folders and when I scroll down, the pinned Favorites scrolls up and is not visible. This causes me to have to scroll all the way back up to get to my inbox. Previously it stayed in place & I could click the inbox. Thank you

    Dear Mjel62,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have a concern with Pinning/locking the favorites folder to the top of the folder bar in the New Outlook. According to your description, I really understand that you are referring to difference in the current feature in New Outlook preview and the classic outlook. Please note that currently this feature doesn't seem feasible in the new Outlook for Windows as. I do apologize not able to meet your requirements at the moment. However, your concern is very meaningful and reasonable. At this point, since New Outlook is still under development, I will surely raise your concern to our Product Development Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates. Also, we sincerely recommend you send your concern as an idea on our in-app New Outlook feedback site. To provide feedback, go to HelpFeedback. You can refer to Contact support and provide feedback within the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Support. Our Product Development Team are committed to enhancing the customer experience by continually examining suggestions to include in the design and development of future product upgrades based on your suggestions. Hopefully your suggestion will help many users in the future.

Thank you for your precious time and understanding. For other questions, feel free to add your post in the Microsoft Community team.

Stay safe and healthy. Have a good day!

    Sincerely,

    Libeamlak | Microsoft Community Moderator

Clearly the engineers do not use outlook... its a pain to have to scroll every time back to the top to get to my inbox... like 200 times a day. Can i send them my medical bill for carpal tunnel?

The 'favorites' component of my folders bar in outlook doesn't stay locked in its original position at the top while the rest of the folders scroll up as I scroll down, it eliminates any value of having favorites in the first place is causing me significant productivity losses by having to scroll through all of my folder setup every time I want to deposit a file. Are there any options to find a way to resolve this quickly so that I don't have to discontinue using the new outlook. This feature or lack of feature is enough to get me to avoid using the new outlook.

Additionally, for some reason I can't attach a file to an outlook message directly out of other office apps. Every time I do so, it says that this feature is not available in the new outlook. This causes me to have to go back into outlook, create a message, attach the file and therefore adds many steps that I hadn't had to do before. Is there a fix for this?

    Please advise asap.

    Best regards,

    Dominic
