Is there a way to pin/lock the Favorites to the top of the folder bar?

I have hundreds of email folders and when I scroll down, the pinned Favorites scrolls up and is not visible. This causes me to have to scroll all the way back up to get to my inbox. Previously it stayed in place & I could click the inbox. Thank you

    Dear Mjel62,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have a concern with Pinning/locking the favorites folder to the top of the folder bar in the New Outlook. According to your description, I really understand that you are referring to difference in the current feature in New Outlook preview and the classic outlook. Please note that currently this feature doesn't seem feasible in the new Outlook for Windows as. I do apologize not able to meet your requirements at the moment. However, your concern is very meaningful and reasonable. At this point, since New Outlook is still under development, I will surely raise your concern to our Product Development Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates. Also, we sincerely recommend you send your concern as an idea on our in-app New Outlook feedback site. To provide feedback, go to HelpFeedback. You can refer to Contact support and provide feedback within the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Support. Our Product Development Team are committed to enhancing the customer experience by continually examining suggestions to include in the design and development of future product upgrades based on your suggestions. Hopefully your suggestion will help many users in the future.

Thank you for your precious time and understanding. For other questions, feel free to add your post in the Microsoft Community team.

Stay safe and healthy. Have a good day!

    Sincerely,

What a garbage response. Are you 12 years old or just dumb? YOU Have no idea how frustrating this is for WORKING folks. I am sure they have children doing the upgrades for this. I love this part the most - "At this point, since New Outlook is still under development" Then why the frik are we paying for it???? WHY are we even using it in business??? Can you imagine driving a car that is as useless as this developmental software???? We would crash every 2 minuets!!!! Utter third world garbage!!!!!!!!

Incredible in this day and age that this level of functionality can be overlooked. Developers obv. not using this platform, but we are pushed to. Fn hopeless.

YES, please fix this asap Microsoft . . . filling from other folders like sent is now a much more time consuming task. Please pin or freeze or lock the favorites at the top of the folders tray! HELP!!

I agree 100%. I am a project manager and each new job has it's own folder and some have subfolders. I literally have 1000's of folders and now it is very tedious to move messages.

Microsoft, it makes no sense why you haven't addressed this yet. We've been waiting for MONTHS.

    Hello,

Having read through all these posts, I realize I'm not the only ticked off user. Seeing that there is currently NO fix for this time consuming and frustrating mistake done by developers, and also seeing that many are moving back to the older version, I will be searching on how to do that right after I post this reply.

Please notify me once this application breaking issue is resolved.

    Thank you

    ~ Carol

Add me in here as well. I have 4 companies that I have to keep track of and having them easily accessible as pinned favorites was super helpful. Now I have to continually scroll to find the folder I need on a consistent basis. Throw in that you can't rearrange your folders how you want them as you are forced to put them alphabetically. I also have shared folders that I can't move to my favorites. The new outlook is a fail in so many ways. Developers should really ask what the people want instead of tailoring it to what they think we want. Unfortunately I am being forced to move to the new Oultlook because I am getting an error with the old one and Microsoft isn't giving my IT department any assistance in fixing it.
