Synchronizing New Outlook with Google Calendar

In that case it is impossible for me to use the New Outlook, which is suggested by Microsoft, as Sync2Cloud is operable only with the classic version of Outlook. Disappointing.

I understand that you're looking for a way to synchronize your Outlook 365 calendar with your Gmail calendar. Here are some steps you can follow to do this:

1. Export Google Calendar: Open Google Calendar on a desktop browser. Click the three-dot button next to the calendar you wish to sync. Click "Settings and sharing" from the pop-up window. Click "Integrate calendar" from the sidebar. Scroll down and copy the URL under "Secret address in iCal format"
2. Import to Outlook: Open up Outlook and press the "Add calendar" option to add an external calendar. Select "Subscribe from the web" from the left-hand menu. Paste the URL you copied from your Google Calendar into the box provided

Please note that this method allows you to view your Google Calendar events in Outlook, but it doesn't provide two-way synchronization. Any changes you make in Google Calendar won't be reflected in Outlook, and vice versa

Unfortunately, as of now, there's no built-in feature in Outlook or Google Calendar that allows for two-way synchronization between the two platforms. You might need to continue using a third-party tool like Sync2Cloud for this purpose.

I tried the new Outlook that was recently made available by Microsoft and also discovered that the sync process between Google Contacts/Calendar and Outlook Contacts/Calendar with GO Contact Sync Mod (as published on https://sourceforge.net/projects/googlesyncmod/ ) was no longer working.

And, the export/import 'feature', mentioned in one of replies above is not enough for me. To me that would only work when doing a complete move from the Google platform to the Microsoft platform. This will not work for me as I will keep using both depending on the device I use.

So, my wife and I went back to the previous version of Outlook where we have a third party sync process that does the job you would expect as functionality in Outlook.

For now I will wait with the update to the new Outlook until there is a working solution for both a sync between my Google calendar and my calendar in Outlook and a sync between my contacts in Google and my contacts in Outlook.

A tested third party solution that takes care of this might also be acceptable for me.

If someone has a working sync solution between Google contacts/calendar and Microsoft Outlook contacts/calendar please inform the interested audience in this thread.

Yes of course this is possible.

Simply add your Google account in the New Outlook - Settings -> Account -> Add Account - your calendar will appear and will sync (Google to Outlook, and Outlook to Google).

Alas, the 2 calendars do not synchronize. It is true that events on the added Google Calendar show on the New Outlook in windows, but they do not show on Outlook 365 on the web. There is no synchronization.
