WHERE is spell check in new outlook?

Go Bret! I'm amazed that MSFT has gone backwards with "New Outlook"! ****!?

Hotmail to the rescue!!

Just open your Outlook email, click on the settings gear on the top right-hand side of the page (for new outlook)

Settings page opens

click on left side for General

General window opens slide cursor to the right and click on Privacy and Data

Open Privacy and Data

Privacy and Data window opens

Scroll down to Privacy settings

Click Privacy settings

Scroll down to the bottom and slide button to on for "Experiences that analyze your content"

Then click close

start a new email and write the wrong word and see if it works. I have gone directly to this setting multiple times to ensure it works. Not hard anymore.

There is NO editor to this. takes less than a minute to do.

And for some reason, you now have to "left click" on a word to present the correct spelling options vs the previous "right clicking". What is up with MSFT?

These settings are buried way too deep for the average user! Microsoft should be making software that is intuitive and inclusive to all not isolating users that are handy with Google and read forums!

Elderly and non tech savvy people use this software, please just make it easy and obvious to correct spelling and grammar to help us all communicate better!

I am having the same problems . The new outlook is not working for me . It is not for the household user . Its far too complicated .
