I really believe the key phase from the moderator was switch ribbon to Classic. Once I gave it about 30 seconds I closed and reopened Outlook. I was back in the old Outlook and spell check worked.. I'm a home PC user and ever since I switched to the new Outlook a few months ago I find the new Outlook is just a pain in the butt. "Where's the junk and spam folder", "what's this **** on the right side". Just not user friendly at all. I did try all the suggestions, but like most everyone else nothing worked.
The only way I have been able to semi-successfully use spell check is to pop all reply's out of the reading pane. Then it at least the misspelled works are underlined in red and I can right click to correct them. Otherwise nothing else works.
Wouldn't it be great if Microsoft actually understood and read our response and gave thoughtful and correct feedback?
