    This was driving me NUTS! After altering the ribbon and turning it back on, I found that if you single-click in the misspelled word instead of tight-clicking, it offers suggestions. Why change this?? Don't know, but hopefully it works for you too

    It's 2025, almost a year later from the original post, and I found this thread. I had the same issues and nothing worked excepted opening up the email to it's own window, then the spelling and grammar check works when you right-click. Is there anyway to fix this so that I do not have to pop-out windows?

    I think it's wrong that you must allow outlook or Microsoft to Analyze all your content in order to use spell check.

    i will just reinstall my office outlook this is wrong
