WHERE is spell check in new outlook?

Hi there,

From what I can see, in the new 365 Outlook, there is no spell checking button. I have admin access too and I cannot see an option that actually makes a spell check button appear for me, as a user.

Yes, incorrectly spelt words might be red underlined (not always from what I have seen) and then you LEFT hand click to bring up spelling corrections (see attached image). That works OK but my main issue is:

1. Why remove the spell check button in the first place? You would not do that in Word or Excel etc.

To an MS devloper reading this, please just put the "ABC Spelling and Grammar" button back.

I have noticed that when I swiched over to the new outlook, the settings were all set to default so I needed to select these again, including spell check. Settings can be accessed from View. Then RIGHT CLICK on the mouse spell check individual words. Maybe worth a try before you completely give up.

Thank you for your input. I may look for an alternative for Microsoft Outlook now.

My questions: How does Microsoft think this helps their users? How is spelling checking a privacy feature? What was wrong with a simple F7?

I have scrolled through this entire thread in hopes of finding a solution to this issue, but nothing seems to work for me. The only way I'm able to access spellcheck is by opening in a new window. But who's doing that all of the time?! Certainly not me. My thought process when replying to an email is not popping out a new window, I just want to simply reply and be done with it.

I love the look and design of the "new" Outlook, however, not being able to access spellcheck quickly is a huge con for me.
