    Hi Howard, I don't know why they hide some of these things and assume that they will work. I am not a computer person, but I did what everyone else does and just keep looking around until I find an answer. Good Luck. Patrick

    Many thanks for your help managed to get6it to work. Why is it so complicated I am 81 years of age.

    I would have thought that the spell assist would have been set up automatically

    I got it to work!

    open outlook, go to view settings (under view header at top next to home)

    click General

    Click privacy and data

    Scroll down to privacy Settings, click

    Scroll down and turn on experiences that analyze your content at the bottom of page, DO NOT click the very bottom one unless you want that too.

    click close.

    Recheck an email with the spell check, word should show up in red shade. I got lucky with the General heading.
