My only options from Privacy and data are Delete history and Export
I got it to work!
open outlook, go to view settings (under view header at top next to home)
click General
Click privacy and data
Scroll down to privacy Settings, click
Scroll down and turn on experiences that analyze your content at the bottom of page, DO NOT click the very bottom one unless you want that too.
click close.
Recheck an email with the spell check, word should show up in red shade. I got lucky with the General heading.

I agree, New outlook is complete and utter garbage. If it aint broke dont fix it.
It has caused havoc with my business, it no longer interacts with SAGE, spell check is missing, The layout is pants, It is an absolute joke.
Seriously, did Microsoft change this just to keep someone in a job, it is the worst Microsoft experience in my working life (40 years)
Right there with you @Jorge Cerda2!!
New Outlook blows!!! No more editor/dictionary tool.
And to make matters worse, you have to "left click" the mouse for spell check when every other MSFT application uses a "right click" for this. They went backwards on this release. Oh how I wish I could go back to Old Outlook!!
I have looked all over for the "Editor" tool and could not find it in the ribbon. This problem I am having is on the latest version of Outlook. When I switch to the older version I have no problem.
