WHERE is spell check in new outlook?
Your instructions do not work - get a grip !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been trying this all day; nothing. However, I switched to the "email" in Edge, which seems to still be outlook, followed your instructions above and it's all set and it works. What happened to that? Is "new" outlook a separate app?
CrackerB, did you even try to do the steps that were provided to find the spell check options?? it is easy, you don't need "EDITOR". Just follow the steps through your outlook email account and it will fix your issue. Just be patient, this is from a person that is not a computer nerd.
In outlook email account (new version)
Click "view", top left of screen next to HOME
Click "View Settings" below HOME
Setting Screen pops up
Click "General" on left side of screen
Click "Privacy and data" in the middle of the screen
New screen opens on right side
Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Privacy Settings"
New screen opens for Privacy Settings
Scroll down to "Turn on Experiences that analyze your content"
Click the button and make it BLUE, this will turn it on.
Click close when done. This should give you spell check, and the bubble that pops up over your words can be used by pressing your up-arrow button and then pressing enter to use that word or one of the words that are provided.
Hope this helps, if not I don't know what you have going on with your system. Maybe you want to go back to DOS or stone and chisel.
I hate this new Outlook, too. I do not have "Editor" anywhere. The old outlook was better. I think I might have to stop using it. Should I use thunderbird again? I might have to do some checking. I agree with you and everyone else. NEW OUTLOOK SUCKS!
Two thumbs-up👍👍 to that!!
