I am suddenly receiving spam calendar invitations/appointments in Outlook (Microsoft 365 Family).  Disappointing that Microsoft has not addressed this.  My McAfee virus scan is also giving me the "No Viruses" when I scan.

I haven't read through this whole thread, but has anyone posted a way to have calendar invites require permission to be placed on the calendar? This would seem a simple approach. I've been getting several of these a week, all from different email addresses, so I can't create a junk/spam filter. If every calendar invite had to pop up to ask for permission before being placed, wouldn't that solve the problem?

So I guess regular outlook as a program or as 365 or that fake program in Windows 10 that says outlook but isn't quite like the real outlook it's more of an app instead of a program none of that works you've got to go to outlook on the web and then you click on the calendar hey Cortana on the left and then you click on settings and then there's a category about event summaries from e-mail and when you click it all you do is get errors it's almost impossible to get it to actually pull up the options usually it says we can't open it right now try again later. I called Microsoft and they tried it remotely on Chrome on Firefox on edge and it just does the same thing clearing history none of it matters occasionally it will pull up and let you uncheck it for all of the options. But then sometimes the save button isn't even there but the checkboxes are and then sometimes the save button is there and then it just sits there and then ultimately it says we can't save this right now or something like that it's all just BS. Why don't they integrate this setting into the regular outlook program and the app in Windows 10? There's all these fancy options and 365 on the computer you know I don't know what it is but it has word outlook excel and all that but the option to do this isn't there you have to go to the web how antiquated and annoying. And it doesn't even work it's just pages and pages and pages of the same problem I'm surprised they haven't locked this out yet but I'm sure they will eventually with no actual solution.

I followed all of the advice i posted about in my previous messages and mine have now stopped coming through to my email, i haven't seen an RSVP ‘invite’ for months now thankfully! Sorry the advice above hasn't worked for you. Unfortunately though MS are claiming there isnt an issue and it’s nothing to do with them. I hope you manage to find a solution!
