There is no option in new Outlook as you describe. On right click on the parent folder the popup does not offer the option to sort the subfolders.

How do you propose to provide this option?

This is a bogus answer! There is no such option to sort A-Z in New Outlook. This is frustrating and causing me to revert back to Old Outlook.

Puzzling this question came in Jan-24 and a company of the size of MS has yet to address such a trivial issue!
