    I started running into this last week. Today I found that if you go to the View menu, there will be an option for Folder pane.

    In the Folder pane dropdown is Sort folders and the ability to "Order folders A to Z"

    At initial glance this appears to have solved my biggest issue.

    The only problem is it out all folders in order not just the sub folder
