My subfolders in the new outlook seem to be sorted by date of change/creation. How can I sort them in alphabetical order?

Ditto, I'm just a frustrated Outlook user.
Hi Jane,
Can you still revert to 'old' Outlook? If so, temporarily revert to old Outlook, and re-sort the sub folders A-Z using the right click.
Stay in old Outlook for the day, shut down and then reboot in the morning.
Return to new Outlook and hopefully your sub folders have replicated the folder structure from old Outlook.
I have no idea how or why, nor am I suggesting this is a technical solution, just highlighting that this somehow worked for me.
Interesting observation, thanks for your follow up comment.
I don't remember if I restarted New Outlook after I sorted the folders. Personally, I definitely did not revert back to Old Outlook; I have heard other colleagues who do this regularly though.
For transparency, I am not on the Outlook or Windows team. I do like helping out whenever/wherever I can.
This didn't work for me.
