Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Thank you!!!! This was driving me nuts!!!
My subfolders in the new outlook seem to be sorted by date of change/creation. How can I sort them in alphabetical order?

2025-06-13T20:00:35+00:00 Follow these steps:
Select Email Folder/SubFolder
From Menu Click on View
Click on Folder Pane
Click on Sort Folders
Select either Order Folders A to Z, or Custom Folder Order

2025-06-09T17:52:28+00:00 I also have that same issue. i looked to try your solution, but that option when right clicking does not appear. A few weeks ago it was automatically putting the subfolders in alphabetical order but now it does not. Bottom line, that option does not appear for me in Outlook.

2025-06-04T16:36:53+00:00 Try it twice. First time it didn't work for me either, but I tried again and took my time and it worked. Silly Microsoft didn't include the sort feature in new outlook. Hopefully they will fix this.
