Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar
I am so sick and tired of "new" outlook stumbling and bumbling. Yesterday I had this problem (We couldn't save...waiting might help...") for about 6 hours, to the end of my work day. Microsoft testing and fixing products before release into the wild might help too. This is hardly the only bug.
I not only killed and restarted outlook, but rebooted the computer.
Why does it give us such a lame "diagnosis" of the problem?
This stuff coming from a near monopoly that is spending literally billions on AI, launching "AI" products that make hard-to-find errors at a prodigious rate (I look at Googles "AI summary" and find errors in most; ok, not MS, but the same sorts of algorithms), should stop. Spend some money fixing all the annoyances spattered throughout MS Products. Here's one: the real-estate hog that is the Search "feature" in Word; free editors (NP++) have searchers with better design and more useful features
But it's not going to happen; MS discovered long ago that sizzle sells better than steak.
This morning I woke up my computer. At least one of the calendar items i had tried to save multiple times WAS THERE. So the thing saved it, but maybe didn't realize it.
Were getting screwed over by these people, and its going go get worse with the diminution or elimination of government oversight looming in our future. Monopsony power will increase (note to spellchecker: monopsony is a real word).
