Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar
Doesn't work for me.

About a month ago, I started having an issue with saving edited calendar events on a shared calendar that I manage. When I go into an existing Event and edit information such as the date, time, title, or other information and hit "SEND", I get a pop-up saying, "Something went wrong", that "We couldn't save your calendar event. Waiting a bit might help. Keep your calendar event open to try again later." (image of this pop-up is attached).
I have tried to "resume editing", and of course, have waited with the event open, but it still won't save. It seems like this is an issue many others are experiencing as well. Solutions I have seen on other threads include turning off weather displays on the calendar, clearing your cache, and using the app instead of a browser. I have tried all of these things, but nothing has solved this problem. I manage many regular calendar events, and it is a huge hassle to have to delete an original event and replicate it over again from scratch when it only needs a small update, and everyone invited to the event sees the cancellations and re-invitations and becomes confused.
Are there any other solutions that might help? Any updates soon? Thank you.

Doesn't work for me.
Thank you very much for sharing the link to the other thread about this. The solution given by Microsoft WORKS!!! I now can edit my Calendar after making my Outlook email the primary email account.
Now wondering why Microsoft themselves didn't reply to THIS thread with the info you have provided via the other thread?
This solution works well for me! Thanks a lot!!
I don't think that explains how, in my case, the problem solved itself. I've done nothing to my gmail account, nor added or deleted email accounts of any sort. After perhaps 36 hours, it magically started working again. And, interestingly, the calendar item I had been trying to add, and which "could not be added", was there.
I don't see anything to convince me the relationship between adding another mailbox, and seeing Calendar work again, is anything other than a coincidence. And it looks like the supposed problem, and solution, was not provided by Microsoft per se, but rather by a "microsoft agent" - someone MS hired to do it for them.
That the message provides no clue whatever as to what went wrong seems really bad design.
Same in my case.
With Gmail it's not possible.
With my other mail account (GMX) saving and editing in the calender works.
