Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar
Well, it appears che alcuni pazzi a Microsoft giocano con l'applicazione.
Yesterday, as a test, I tried to create two calendar entries. I encountered the "I can't do this please wait" message, and the calendar did not display either entry.
Today, I revisited the calendar. The entries it said it could no display, and which it DID not display yesterday...are there.
So I tried adding yet another entry. Now, rather than just creating the entry as it did in the past (at least on those occasions when it didn't break), it displays a similar but I not identical message "something went wrong" in red font, followed by "We couldn't save your calendar event. Waiting a bit might help. Keep your calendar event open to try again later." in black, followed by "Resume editing" in blue. Hovering anywhere in the dialog displays a hand (but of course nothing tells me what might happen if I clicked it, no url or anything).
And (here's the big difference) clicking opens up a window (a large form) whose "title" appears to be my meeting title, with several data fields, I think the same as in the calendar entry form, PLUS a multi-row input field with a date and times. Looks like I can iterate over other dates. Also a new field, a place to add invitee email addresses. If I close the form wihtout adding any address...the form closes, and the "new entry" does NOT appear in Calendar. If I add an address and click send...the "Something went wrong...resume editing" notification appears again.
It looks to me like some software "engineer" is playing around with this published application, trying to, I don't know, add features, fix it, whatever. It's out of control.
