Edits to Calendar Events can't be Saved

About a month ago, I started having an issue with saving edited calendar events on a shared calendar that I manage. When I go into an existing Event and edit information such as the date, time, title, or other information and hit "SEND", I get a pop-up saying, "Something went wrong", that "We couldn't save your calendar event. Waiting a bit might help. Keep your calendar event open to try again later." (image of this pop-up is attached).

I have tried to "resume editing", and of course, have waited with the event open, but it still won't save. It seems like this is an issue many others are experiencing as well. Solutions I have seen on other threads include turning off weather displays on the calendar, clearing your cache, and using the app instead of a browser. I have tried all of these things, but nothing has solved this problem. I manage many regular calendar events, and it is a huge hassle to have to delete an original event and replicate it over again from scratch when it only needs a small update, and everyone invited to the event sees the cancellations and re-invitations and becomes confused.

Are there any other solutions that might help? Any updates soon? Thank you.

    This started happening to me during January, and after reading this thread and a bit of experimentation, it seems that some idiot at Microsoft has decided to use the NAME of the calendar entry as some form of index.

    If I create any event with the same name as another event (including using the usually helpful 'Duplicate Event' option) the event is created, but then can't be edited - giving the same 'can't save' or 'something went wrong' modern/useless error message.

    If I create a new event with a slightly different name (I've just started adding (1), (2), etc. to the end of all my regular events :| ) it seems to work.

    If others could give that a try and see what they think, it might help Microsoft's obviously incompetent developers get somewhere with this...

    I'm running Windows 10 and the same issue started 2 days ago. I've tried the various fixes in this thread but nothing has worked.

    I've tried it on Windows 10 desktop and a mobile phone - same issue.

    Can Microsoft please issue a properfix so we can update our calendars?

    Lots to love about the mail editor in NO. You can insert a link, but ^V doesn't paste anything, ^f doesn't find anything, misspelling is underlined but of course no correction is offered, the formatter lets you underscore text but you never needed strikeout anyway. And you thought you needed to control tabs, but you don't, not really.

    Just say NO!

    Having the same issue. I need to change over 5 appointments and i'm not about to delete them and re-write them up. I tried changing them on my phone which worked, however after closing and opening the app to check, they've reverted back to the old times, so I'm about to smash my electronics. No idea if the updates sent to my clients or not and don't want to spam them. Seriously annoying - did anything work?

    Working until some software engineer tries to add sparkle font or voice recognition to calendar and breaks it again.
