How do I add a background picture to the "Modern" theme in the new outlook that replaces the older mail app?

In the old Mail app I was able to add a custom background image. Since that app is going away I now have to use this version. the "modern" theme has a picture of a snow covered landscape. The options are that or nothing. There is no way to change the picture or add a picture of my choosing, even though the description says "Modern themes allow you to add a background image for further customization". How do I change this image, or add an image of my own?

    Microsoft is more likely to acknowledge this request if submitted through the Feedback Hub. I already made a request and if people upvote it, it'll be more likely to be implemented.

    Hello. To be able to move this forward, or at least have a chance Microsoft will add this feature, please upvote my Suggestion which was sent to Microsoft Forum directly. More upvotes = higher chance of implementation. Thank you everyone in advance.

    I would like to see modern themes expand so it's seen within where the mail is seen not in the backdrop.

    I hope there will be a positive change soon.

    So it is January and there seems to be no option to choose a custom image. Keepin' the thread alive! :)
