In the old Mail app I was able to add a custom background image. Since that app is going away I now have to use this version. the "modern" theme has a picture of a snow covered landscape. The options are that or nothing. There is no way to change the picture or add a picture of my choosing, even though the description says "Modern themes allow you to add a background image for further customization". How do I change this image, or add an image of my own?

I have switched to the new outlook and am gobsmacked when I read that this problem has been going on for a very long time. Come on Microsoft it is a very simple feature that a large number of people including myself want.

Yes this is why I am looking for another mail app. I liked the way the old mail App looked And the way It showed the different email accounts on the left.

You can send the reasons you are changing back when you switch the toggle. BUT IT FALLS ON DUMB DEAF EARS. and nothing gets changed. you don't even get contacted back.
