In the old Mail app I was able to add a custom background image. Since that app is going away I now have to use this version. the "modern" theme has a picture of a snow covered landscape. The options are that or nothing. There is no way to change the picture or add a picture of my choosing, even though the description says "Modern themes allow you to add a background image for further customization". How do I change this image, or add an image of my own?

I don't believe Microsoft really cares about what their users want. They ask for feedback, then do nothing to answer that feedback.

Come on Microsoft it is way past time you fixed this problem. You seem to be able to change everything else quickly so why not this one? It is frustrating as all I want is to put my own image as a background.

Yes this is why I am looking for another mail app. I liked the way the old mail App looked And the way It showed the different email accounts on the left.
I WANT TO BE ABLE TO ADD MY OWN BACKGROUND TO THE NEW OUTLOOK.
You can send the reasons you are changing back when you switch the toggle. BUT IT FALLS ON DUMB DEAF EARS. and nothing gets changed. you don't even get contacted back.
