In the old Mail app I was able to add a custom background image. Since that app is going away I now have to use this version. the "modern" theme has a picture of a snow covered landscape. The options are that or nothing. There is no way to change the picture or add a picture of my choosing, even though the description says "Modern themes allow you to add a background image for further customization". How do I change this image, or add an image of my own?

you Microsoft doesn't care about what we want or enjoyed, and are lying about the settings and options presented in their product NO WAY!! They would NEVER do that?!
Its a solid almost a year later and they have yet to resolve this issue. I hate the new outlook so so so much. They wont stop pushing it on us and every time I open my mail it goes back to it. I hope they resolve this because I WILL download a new mail app before I use microsofts ugly themes
I have downloaded and installed eM Client pro. This email app is almost the same as the Windows Mail & Calendar. You just need to Google eM Client to find it. I believe you can also get a free key from eM Client as well. So far eM Client looks and works ok. So I would to just trying that.
Whelp. Today is the day they have officially forced me off the Mail App. Still nothing. Oh, they added some more images to the modern theme. But still no way to add your own.
Way to go Microsoft.
Does anyone know of a third party app that wil mimic the old mail app?
