How do I add a background picture to the "Modern" theme in the new outlook that replaces the older mail app?

In the old Mail app I was able to add a custom background image. Since that app is going away I now have to use this version. the "modern" theme has a picture of a snow covered landscape. The options are that or nothing. There is no way to change the picture or add a picture of my choosing, even though the description says "Modern themes allow you to add a background image for further customization". How do I change this image, or add an image of my own?

    Ditto. I have complained about every time and will continue to tell Outlook how I hate their system and feeling like a hostage.

    I Agree. I always had one of my furrballs too. I still miss my little Houtan, and now I can't even put his photo as the wallpaper on Outlook.

    ANOTHER year, and it's STILL not fixed. This is a big part of why I didn't want to use this new program, and now it's being rammed down my throat, no other option.

    I'm thoroughly pissed off with the whole thing.

    Well said. It's very important. I find the artificiality and saccharine images of 'nature' to be really disconcerting. Microsoft, please update this.
