I had the same problem as you and I thought I was stuck forever, but my gosh. I took the suggestion of SueNield who replied to you and tried logging in using my iphone. Amazing it worked! I have no idea why hotmail disappeared on my computer and only outlook pops up but on my iphone I can log in normally. It's been a few years since I logged in and I thought it's lost forever but no it's still there on my iphone. Strange.

Why? You are causing me problems, I am not getting my emails, you have messed up access to my emails, no consideration for older people, you should be helping more to allow using the same format to access our emails.
