I want the normal hotmail.com login, i do not want microsoft account login.

I want my normal hotmail.com login, which i have been using for years. All of a sudden you decide without any option to force a Microsoft Account with Billing?

Why? You are causing me problems, I am not getting my emails, you have messed up access to my emails, no consideration for older people, you should be helping more to allow using the same format to access our emails.

    I did not have my hotmail on my phone. And I am not receiving any e mails when I try to change things over. Very frustrating!!

    Have you read my reply to Alfred? If not, I told him I have an Iphone that has no problem with Hotmail, it's just Outlook. I now forward them to my Gmail account, which Outlook can recognise. Outlook are for some reason trying to prevent people using Hotmail accounts, either that or they have not bothered to / cannot rectify, the problem they have with Hotmail emails. It's a shame that such a big tech company cannot manage to help all its customers.

    Looks like you are in the same boat as me. I too have had no success with Outlook, their customer service is abysmal. Luckily for me, I have one way round this problem. I own an Apple phone, which has no problem with me using Hotmail. So when I want to answer Hotmail emails on my laptop, I forward them on my phone to my Gmail account, which incidentally, Outlook had no trouble recognising, and use my laptop as usual.

    I could forward my emails to my Outlook account, but I'm really angry with Outlook for disabling Hotmail, and causing all this trouble in the first place!

    I lost all of my hotmail, mail, messages, everything. I can't login, I had to re create another e-mail but all of my (stuff) is connected to my hotmail accout.

    I filled out many applications for recovery but always get the same message (not enough info.) I provided everything they asked.

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    For reasons which I don't understand I've not been able to access the hotmail address I've had for twenty years (******@hotmail.com). The great problem is that it includes dozens and dozens of contacts whose E-mail addresses I don't have written down.

    I am 78 and disabled and hotmail is my principal contact with the outside world.

    For the time being I have a new hotmail address but I really need access to all my stored addresses and messages.
