I updated my computer this morning and now anytime I try and attach an email to an outgoing email, my entire Outlook crashes (before the email attaches and I get a chance to try and send the outgoing email). I've tried restarting Outlook and my computer. I have no problem attaching and sending other types of files. The issue is not limited to one particular email message I'm trying to attach or send -- I've tested the issue, and it has happened with all my tests or various email (.msg) attachments and outgoing emails.
I routinely attach emails from within my Outlook to my outgoing emails in Outlook, by dragging and dropping the email I want to attach to my outgoing email. This is the first time I'm having this issue. I imagine it may have something to do with the update I was forced to run this morning.
Any troubleshooting advice would be much appreciated. Thank you, all!

Are you on Current Channel or Semi-Annual Channel Preview? Current Channel should not repro the issue anymore. For SACP the fix is supposed to go out on April 9th.
This is still happening in 2402 Build 17328.20184.
If I try to add an msg attachment to an e-mail normally, then Outlook crashes.
If I run Outlook in safe mode, the crash still happens when I try to attach an msg file to an e-mail.
If I run Outlook /a <path to the msg file> without Outlook already open, then the problem does not happen and it creates an e-mail with the requested attachment.
However, the above command leaves the Outlook process running and when I run the Outlook /a command again, the second Outlook process causes the same crash to happen when I try to attach an msg file to an e-mail.
The problem also does not happen if I start Outlook disconnected and try to create an e-mail with an msg file attachment while offline. However, if I reconnect and try to add a second msg file attachment to the same e-mail (or any msg attachment to any other e-mail), Outlook crashes.
When the connectivity isn't there, I don't get the "How do you want to attach this file?" prompt, and it seems to be only when I get this prompt and attempt to "Attach as copy" that I get the crash. "Share link" works fine.
Also, Procdump is reporting an Access Violation when watching the crash.
There is no formal documentation for this issue. The service change was that the Outlook Team turned off a feature change flight that was found to be causing the issue. That feature will stay off until the hard coded change gets rolled out.
Is there a location where we can see these service changes that were rolled out March 14th?
It is working as of this morning for me and I am confirming with my customers.
